As the title says I think swarm launchers should be able to lock onto neutral installations. At least tell me the reason why we shouldn't be able to. I really don't see a down side since FGs and Plasma cannons can destroy neutral installations. |

CCP were lazy with the turning off dumbfire during beta. They should fix the balance properly (warhead activation time, spread, launch time, etc) so that they can turn dumbfire back on. I would like them to dumb fire but if I could lock onto installations it would be just fine. |

LIES, Lies I tell you, if one attempts to kill a installation with a PC a flaylock ******* steals the kill I've seen a plasma cannon destroy an installation quite easily actually. It has decent damage just slow travel time and a tight blast radius. |

Also I spawn in my AV fit so I can destroy vehicles anyways. |

It has decent damage just slow travel time and a tight blast radius. It takes 3 rounds with 2 damage mods and level 4 proficiency to leave it with less then 150 health.... (adv) Most people stack 3 damage mods for AV. Also use the proto version. |

Meeko Fent wrote:shaman oga wrote:just turn the swarm launcher in a dumb fire weapon & eliminate splash damage They used to be dumb fire from what I hear, but they were being used more for AI bazookas then actual AV weapons. They were the flaylocks of early beta from what I heard. Yes they were but that's because they had too much splash and splash damage. |

Proto swarms with max proficiency. lol I swear i've blown up neutral installations before, specifically to stop enemies from getting them. Maybe my screen was glitched each time, or maybe it's been changed? It's never been like that. You use to be able to dumb fire swarms but not actually lock onto neutral installations. |

These guns have some kind of strategical value. And every time I try to hack them some guy thinks it's better to blow it up so he can get 100 WP. I blow them up because they are an annoyance to both infantry and vehicles . I'll destroy them when they're red or a forge gunner or vehicle driver will. |

I would like them to dumb fire but if I could lock onto installations it would be just fine. I think we should be able to lock onto anything with a sufficiently high sig profile, while giving Shield mods a penalty (increase) to Sig Profile. Let's see how they like their stacked Shield Extenders then...... Huh? I'm not quite sure I get this post. If I think I know what you mean then no, keep it the way it is. |

I'd rather have the suggestion that I made than have dumbfire back. It would give some penalty to Shield mods too. win, win. Well I'd much rather just be able to lock on to neutral installations lol. |

Well, I'm not saying that is a bad idea, I just think there should also be more to Sig Profile. I look at them as being connected. Could you imagine the self-proclaimed "athlete" tears that would be harvested? I think it should just stay the same. Just let me lock onto those neutral installations lol. |

Bright Cloud wrote:dumb fire swarms would be OP as hell due to their really low fire intervall delay. Basically you could empty a full swarm launcher clip in less then a sec. Which would tear tanks apart if you get up close to them. I want to lock onto neutral installations not be able to dumbfire. So please get out of my thread unless you have something to say about the OP. |
